Wix Pricing in 2026: Every Plan, What It Includes and What Costs Extra

Wix has a free plan and four paid Premium plans. As of October 2026, Wix's plans page lists Light at $17, Core at $29, Business at $39 and Business Elite at $159 a month in US dollars, billed yearly and before tax. Core is the cheapest plan that can accept payments. Figures below come from Wix's plans page, help center and blog, loaded on October 5, 2026.
WixTL;DR: Top pick
Wix: Free plan, then Light $17, Core $29, Business $39 and Business Elite $159 a month, billed yearly and before tax (US prices from Wix's plans page, as of October 2026). Core is the cheapest plan that accepts payments, and each plan covers one site.
Wix pricing at a glance
Wix pricing has three layers. The plan: Free, or one of four Premium plans from $17 to $159 a month billed yearly (US prices, as of October 2026). The billing period: advertised prices are for a yearly subscription paid in full, and month to month costs more. And the extras outside every plan: domain renewal after the first year, business email, paid apps and payment processing fees. One plan covers one site. New Premium plans come with a 14-day money-back guarantee, but Wix does not offer a free trial of paid plans.
Pros
- +Free plan with no time limit and no credit card required
- +AI creation tools, including the Wix Harmony editor, are on every plan, including Free, with no separate fee
- +14-day money-back guarantee on new Premium plans, on monthly and yearly billing
- +Most yearly plans include a voucher for one free year of a new domain
- +You can change to another plan of the same duration at any time
Cons
- −Light, the cheapest paid plan, cannot accept payments; selling starts at Core ($29 a month billed yearly, as of October 2026)
- −Each Premium plan covers one site only
- −The plans page shows only yearly prices; month to month costs more and does not include the domain voucher
- −Domain renewal, business email, paid apps and payment processing fees are extra
- −Anything bought at a sale price renews at the standard rate

Wix plans and prices as of October 2026
Wix's plans page shows five options. Free is $0 and says no credit card is required. Light is $17 a month, Core $29, Business $39 and Business Elite $159. Wix states that the displayed prices are for yearly subscriptions paid in full at the time of purchase, do not include applicable taxes and vary by location, with the final price shown on the purchase page before you pay. Paid up front, the yearly totals come to $204, $348, $468 and $1,908 before tax (our arithmetic: twelve times the listed monthly figure). According to Wix's help center, every Premium plan lets you use a custom domain, removes Wix branding and includes 24/7 customer care.
What the free Wix plan includes and leaves out
The free plan has no time limit: Wix's blog says you can keep a free website for as long as you need it, and its help center says you can create up to 999 free sites. A free site is published at an address in the form siteprefix.wixsite.com/siteaddress, displays Wix ads and has up to 500 MB of storage. Hosting, templates, the editor and Wix's AI creation tools are included. You cannot connect a custom domain to a free site, and Wix's blog lists two more limits: no eCommerce functionality or way to take payments, and no connection to Google Analytics. Wix's own pages disagree on free bandwidth: one help article says 1 GB and another says up to 500 MB. If publishing without paying is the goal, compare other AI website builders with a free plan.
Wix Light: $17 a month billed yearly
Light is the entry Premium plan (price as of October 2026): 2 GB of storage, 2 site collaborators, the Light marketing suite with 4 lead-capture forms of up to 10 fields each, site analytics and multi-cloud hosting. It lets you connect your own domain and removes Wix branding, and yearly Light plans include the voucher for a free domain for one year. Light cannot accept payments. Wix's help center says that if you purchased the Light plan, you will not be able to accept payments through your site. That makes Light a plan for a personal, portfolio or brochure site, not a store.
Wix Core: $29 a month billed yearly
Core is the first plan that takes money (price as of October 2026). It adds accept payments, basic eCommerce, customer accounts and the bookings platform, and Wix's plans page lists scheduling and services from Core up. You also get 50 GB of storage, 5 site collaborators and the Basic marketing suite with 10 lead-capture forms of up to 50 fields each. For a shop or a service business this is the real starting price of Wix: $12 a month more than Light.
Wix Business: $39 a month billed yearly
Business is the plan Wix marks as recommended (price as of October 2026). Over Core it moves to standard eCommerce and the Standard marketing suite, 100 GB of storage, 10 site collaborators and 25 lead-capture forms of up to 75 fields each. Wix's help center also lists automated sales tax for 100 transactions per month and HIPAA compliance for bookings. The plan cards do not say where basic eCommerce stops and standard begins. That detail is in the Compare Plan Features table on Wix's plans page, which loads in the browser and which we could not read, so check it for the store feature you need before choosing between Core and Business.
Wix Business Elite: $159 a month billed yearly
Business Elite (price as of October 2026) has unlimited storage, 100 site collaborators, advanced eCommerce, the Advanced marketing suite with 75 lead-capture forms of up to 100 fields each, automated sales tax for 500 transactions per month, the advanced developer platform and priority customer care. The step up from Business is $120 a month, the largest jump in the lineup. Wix's help center pitches it at high-traffic businesses that need custom functionality and scalability.
Monthly, yearly and multi-year billing
Wix sells each plan on a monthly, yearly or multi-year (2 or 3 year) subscription, and says 2 and 3 year terms are not available in all regions. The plans page only shows yearly prices. Wix's help center says yearly plans offer savings over monthly plans, but the plans page does not list month to month prices, so we have left them out: check the monthly figure at checkout before you choose it. Monthly plans do not include the free domain voucher. We did not find 2 and 3 year prices on the Wix pages we read; Wix only says they save more than yearly or monthly plans. All plans renew automatically. Yearly and multi-year plans are charged in full up to 3 weeks before the expiration date, and Wix emails you from 30 days before the payment; monthly plans renew with no email notice. You can change to another plan of the same duration at any time, and Wix says that if you change to a cheaper plan you are credited the difference.
The 14-day money-back guarantee and what it does not cover
Wix says it does not offer a free trial of Premium plans. Instead, new Premium and Studio plans have a 14-day money-back guarantee, on monthly and yearly subscriptions alike. Cancel within 14 days of the purchase and you get a full refund to the payment method you used; Wix asks you to allow up to 45 business days for processing, and the plan is deactivated immediately. The guarantee does not apply to plan renewals or to upgrades of an existing plan, and domains are separate: Wix says domain purchases do not have a 14-day money-back guarantee. One trap: turning off auto-renewal inside the first 14 days cancels the plan immediately, so to stop only a future renewal, wait until after day 14. Cancel after the 14 days and the plan stays active until the end of the billing cycle. The site then reverts to the free version with Wix ads and the wixsite.com address; Wix says your content is not deleted.
Costs that are not in the plan price
Domain. Most yearly and multi-year plans include a voucher for one free year of a new domain bought from Wix. It comes only with a first-time plan purchase, must be redeemed within 60 days and does not cover renewals, domain privacy or extra years. After the first year the domain renews at its regular rate; the Wix blog post "How much is a Wix website?" (published July 29, 2026, updated September 30, 2026) gives $13.35 a year for .com and $14.95 a year for .org, as of October 2026. Email. A mailbox at your domain is sold separately through Google Workspace; the Wix blog post "How much does a business email cost" (published August 26, 2026) lists plans at $7, $14 and $22 per user per month, as of October 2026. Apps. Some Wix App Market apps are free and others charge their own monthly fee, which the same July 29, 2026 Wix blog post on website costs puts at $3 to $20 or more. Payment processing. In the US, Wix Payments charges 2.9% plus $0.30 for most credit and debit cards, 3.7% plus $0.30 for American Express and 3.49% plus $0.49 for PayPal. Rates differ by country. Tax. Listed plan prices exclude applicable taxes.
Is AI included in Wix's prices?
Yes. Wix's plans page lists AI creation tools among the things all plans include, and Wix's blog says the Wix Harmony editor has no separate price tag because it is included in every Wix plan, including the free one. The same post says AI agents such as Aria, which handles site building and design, are included at no extra cost. We did not find a published AI credit allowance or usage cap for any plan on the Wix pages we read. For what the builder does, see our page on Wix AI features.
Wix Studio and Enterprise plans
Premium plans only apply to sites built in the Wix Editor. A site built in the Studio Editor, Wix's platform for agencies and freelancers, needs a Studio plan instead. Wix's help center lists four: Basic (10 GB storage, 3 external site collaborators, cannot accept payments), Standard (50 GB, 5 collaborators, accepts payments), Plus (120 GB, 10 collaborators) and Elite (unlimited media storage, up to 100 collaborators). Wix's Studio plans page lists Basic at $19 a month, for a yearly subscription paid in full and before tax (as of October 2026). Standard, Plus and Elite cost more, and that page has the current price of each. Enterprise pricing is custom: Wix says it varies with project scope and required solutions.
Sales and discounts
Wix's help center says a first plan purchase may come with a discount, for example during a sale, and the rule is the same each time: any paid service bought at a discount renews at the standard rate. Budget for the regular price from the second term. Charities and nonprofits that are TechSoup members can apply for a 70% discount on a 2-year Premium plan for one website. Wix lists the United States among the eligible countries, excludes Studio plans and organizations that already have a Premium plan, and bills the next two years at the standard rate unless you cancel. No sale or strike-through price was displayed on Wix's plans page when it was loaded on October 5, 2026, so the prices in this guide are Wix's listed prices, not sale prices.
Wix Pricing Plans, the app, is something else
Wix Pricing Plans is also the name of a Wix app, and it has nothing to do with what Wix charges you. Wix describes it as an app you add to your site to sell subscriptions to your own customers, with one-time, recurring or free plans. This page is about the cost of Wix itself.
Which Wix plan to pick
Start from what the site has to do. To learn the editor or run a hobby site, stay on Free. For a personal or portfolio site on your own domain without Wix ads, Light is enough. If you sell products, take bookings or accept any payment online, you need Core at minimum. Move to Business for more storage, more collaborators, the standard eCommerce and marketing tier or automated sales tax. Business Elite is for large operations that need unlimited storage, the advanced developer platform and priority care. If you are still deciding on the platform, see Wix vs Squarespace, Wix vs WordPress and Durable vs Wix.
What we could not verify
Month to month prices are not on Wix's plans page, so they are not in this guide. We found no 2 and 3 year prices on the Wix pages we read. We could not read the Compare Plan Features table, so finer limits such as how basic, standard and advanced eCommerce differ are unconfirmed. Wix's pages give two free-plan bandwidth figures (1 GB and 500 MB), and we found no published AI usage limits per plan. Domain renewal, Google Workspace and app prices come from Wix blog posts, not from a Wix price list, so confirm them at checkout. The code of Wix's plans page holds a hidden ".77" fragment beside each price, so text-only copies of the page can read $17.77 and so on. The page as displayed shows whole-dollar prices and Wix's blog posts quote $17, $29, $39 and $159, so we used those.
How this page was put together
We compared Wix's plans pages, help center articles and blog posts, all loaded on October 5, 2026. We did not buy a plan or build a site on Wix for this page. Prices are in US dollars as Wix publishes them, exclude tax, vary by location and change often, so check the linked source and the checkout page before you buy.

Verdict
Wix is free to start and $17 to $159 a month on a yearly Premium plan (US prices, as of October 2026), but the price that matters for most businesses is Core at $29, because Light cannot take payments. Budget on top for a domain from the second year, a mailbox, paid apps and card processing fees. Yearly plans cost less than monthly ones and include the free domain voucher, so buy yearly if you are sure, and treat the 14-day money-back window as your trial. If you need several sites, each needs its own plan, so compare alternatives to Wix before you commit.
