The Best Durable Alternatives in 2026

By Ethan Halfhide · Updated October 27, 2026

Last verified 2026-10-27

The best Durable alternatives are Wix for an all-round small business site with bookings and a store, Squarespace for design-led sites that sell, Hostinger for the lowest monthly price if you prepay, B12 for client intake and invoicing, 10Web if you want WordPress underneath, Framer for design control and Jimdo for a simple site with bookings. Durable itself starts free as a private preview, and its Launch plan costs $25 a month or $22 a month billed yearly, as of October 2026. Every price below comes from the vendor's own pricing page, read on October 27, 2026.

TL;DR: Top pick

Wix: Wix is the best all-round Durable alternative for a small business. You describe your business and its AI builds the site in a chat, then you keep editing by hand or with its built-in AI agent, Aria. Service businesses get scheduling, booking and lead forms, and stores get product galleries, payments and inventory tools. You can start building free; a custom domain and online payments need a Premium plan, and scheduling starts on Core. Wix sites cannot be moved to another host.

Why people look for a Durable alternative

Durable generates a small business website with AI, then bundles a CRM, bookings and AI credits in one plan. People look elsewhere for a few repeat reasons. The Free plan is only a private preview, so publishing on your own domain needs Launch at $25 a month or $22 billed yearly. Design control is lighter than on design-first builders, custom code is limited to site-wide scripts and embed sections, and we found no documented way to export your site. If you want a bigger store, deeper design control, WordPress, a lower prepaid price or a cleaner exit, one of the builders below may fit better.

Which Durable alternative fits your business

Start with the job your site has to do. If you run a local service business and you mainly want to be found, booked and paid, Wix is the closest swap: its AI builds the site in a chat and its Core plan adds scheduling, booking forms and payments, much like Durable Launch does. If your work is visual, such as a salon, studio, photographer or small shop, Squarespace gives you stronger design and puts selling on every plan, though you should choose Core to avoid the 2% store fee on Basic. If your budget is tight and you are happy to pay for four years at once, Hostinger costs the least per month at its promotional intro rate, though that rate is a sale price and renewal costs more. Consultants, coaches and agencies that send proposals and collect intake details should look at B12, whose Website + Client Engagement plan adds payments, invoicing and email marketing on top of the site. If you have outgrown no-code tools or want the option to hire a developer later, 10Web gives you WordPress from day one. Framer suits a business that cares most about a polished, modern design and does not need booking or payment tools built in. Jimdo fits a small business that wants a plain site with calendar bookings and maintained legal pages, especially in Europe. If you are still deciding whether to leave at all, our Durable AI website builder review sets out what Durable does well, and the Durable vs Wix compared page goes deeper on the most common switch.

What Durable and the alternatives cost

All prices are as of October 2026 and in US dollars unless noted. Durable's Free plan is a private preview with 300 AI credits in total and a CRM for up to 10 customers. Launch is $25 a month or $22 a month billed yearly, with 1,000 AI credits a month, unlimited bookings synced to your calendar and a free domain up to a $20 value. Grow is $49 a month or $41 billed yearly and adds unlimited team members, automatic site translation and 5,000 AI credits a month. Against that, Squarespace Basic is $25 a month or $19 billed yearly and Core is $39 or $29 billed yearly. In the US, Wix lists Light at $17 a month and Core at $29 a month on yearly billing; its plans page says prices and currency vary by location and that displayed prices are yearly subscriptions paid in full. Hostinger Premium is a $2.49 a month promotional intro price (part of a Black Friday sale as of October 2026) that requires $119.52 upfront for 48 months and renews at $10.99 a month. B12 Website is $24 a month with a $1 first week, and Website + Client Engagement is $78 a month. 10Web AI Starter is $120 for 12 months, which 10Web shows as half its regular $240. Framer Basic is listed at $10 a month with yearly billing, and Jimdo says its paid plans start from $9 a month. The cheapest sticker price is not always the cheapest year: a Hostinger renewal or a Squarespace Basic store fee can change the total, so compare the plan you will still be on in year two. Ownership, lock-in and moving a site off Durable

Durable is a no-code platform. Its help center lets you add site-wide scripts to the head or body and use an Embed section for custom HTML, CSS or JavaScript on a single page, but we found no Durable article on exporting your site's files, so plan to rebuild your pages on the new platform. Before you cancel, copy your page text, download your images and export anything you need from the CRM. Your domain is the part you can keep. A domain you bought elsewhere and connected to Durable stays with your registrar, so you only repoint it. A domain registered through Durable can be transferred out once your subscription has been active for at least three consecutive months and your account has no outstanding payments, and Durable's pricing FAQ says the transfer takes a couple of weeks. Durable also offers a full refund if you message it within 30 days of your first subscription payment, including on annual plans. Lock-in varies on the other side too. Wix states that a Wix site must run on Wix's servers and cannot be moved to another host. Squarespace can export some content as a WordPress XML file, but not store pages, product blocks, style settings or custom CSS. Hostinger describes moving out of its builder as a manual copy and rebuild. 10Web runs on WordPress, so its own guide points to standard WordPress export, FTP and database tools. If you expect to move again, that difference matters more than a few dollars a month.

When staying on Durable makes sense

Durable bundles a site, a CRM with unlimited customers, unlimited bookings and 1,000 AI credits a month in a single Launch plan, and Grow adds team members and automatic translation. If you are a sole trader who wants all of that in one login and does not need fine design control or a large store, switching may cost you more time than it saves. The alternatives above win when you need a specific thing Durable is lighter on: a bigger store, deeper design control, WordPress, a lower prepaid price or a clearer way to take your site with you. If you were weighing Durable against another fast generator, our Mixo alternatives list covers launch page builders, and the Durable vs 10Web comparison covers the WordPress route.

How we chose

We compared official information only: each vendor's pricing page, product pages and help articles, all read on October 27, 2026. We picked builders that cover the main reasons a small business leaves Durable: design, selling, price, client tools and ownership. We did not test the tools ourselves, and we did not use third-party ratings. Prices change often and can depend on your location, so confirm the price on the vendor's site before you pay.

What we could not verify

GoDaddy's builder pricing page redirected us to another country's prices, and Mixo's prices did not load in a form we could confirm, so neither appears in the ranked list. Jimdo's pages we loaded gave a starting price of $9 a month but not individual plan names or limits. Framer shows Basic at $10 a month with yearly billing and did not print a month-to-month price, and B12 printed monthly prices only. Wix prices depend on your location, so the US prices here come from Wix's own pricing guides; check the price shown for your country. None of the vendors publish uptime or support response times we could compare.

    Squarespace

Template-led website builder with Blueprint AI, built-in commerce and a 14-day free trial

Squarespace's AI website builder (Blueprint AI) turns a description of your business into a multi-page starting site with pages, copy, images, colors and fonts, which you then refine in its editor. Every plan can sell unlimited products and services, but Basic adds a 2% fee on store sales, so Core is the better plan for selling. You need a paid plan to publish.

    Best for:
    Design-led service businesses and shops
    Pricing:
Basic $25/mo, or $19/mo billed yearly. Core $39/mo, or $29/mo billed yearly, as of October 2026
  3. 3
    Hostinger Website Builder

Drag-and-drop website builder with AI tools, hosting and a first-year domain; Black Friday promo from $2.49/mo on a 48-month term, renews at $10.99/mo (October 2026)

Hostinger's AI Builder creates a site from a description and adds AI help for content, images and product descriptions, plus selling of physical and digital products, services and subscriptions. The low price is a promotional intro rate (a Black Friday sale as of October 2026) that needs a 48-month term paid upfront, and renewal at $10.99 a month costs more than four times as much. Premium covers up to 3 websites, with a free domain and mailboxes for the first year.

    Best for:
The lowest monthly cost if you can prepay
    Pricing:
Premium $2.49/mo promotional intro price (Black Friday sale), $119.52 upfront for 48 months, renews at $10.99/mo, as of October 2026
  4. 4
    B12

AI-generated websites for professional service businesses

B12 says it produces a first draft in about two minutes and runs commerce, forms, contact management, email marketing and analytics in one place. The free plan publishes on a b12sites.com subdomain. The Website plan adds a custom domain (free for the first year) and commerce, and Website + Client Engagement adds online payments, invoicing and email marketing. You can also hire vetted designers, copywriters or SEO specialists through its Expert Marketplace.

    Best for:
Professional services that need intake forms, payments and invoicing
    Pricing:
Free on a subdomain. Website $24/mo; Website + Client Engagement $78/mo, as of October 2026

    10Web

Agentic AI builder for WordPress websites, stores and apps, hosted on Google Cloud

10Web builds a site from a prompt, a link or a file on a WordPress backend, and includes hosting, SSL, backups and a free domain. Every plan includes the full WordPress CMS and an ecommerce dashboard. Because the site is WordPress, standard WordPress export tools and file access apply, which is the clearest exit route on this list.

    Best for:
Owners who want a WordPress site they can take elsewhere
    Pricing:
AI Starter $10/mo billed yearly ($120 for 12 months), 1 website, as of October 2026
  6. 6
    Framer

AI website builder and design agent for designers and teams, with CMS and hosting built in

Framer is a design tool with hosting and a CMS built in, plus monthly AI credits that power its AI agents and other AI features. Its free plan is meant for non-commercial use on a Framer domain with 1 GB of bandwidth, so a business needs Basic for a custom domain, 30 pages and a 2-collection CMS. Its pricing page lists no booking or payment tools, so pair it with a separate scheduler if you take appointments.

    Best for:
Design control for a polished marketing site
    Pricing:
Free for non-commercial use. Basic $10/mo with yearly billing, as of October 2026
  7. 7
    Jimdo AI

AI website builder for small businesses with bookings, payments and a free plan

Jimdo's AI handles structure, copy, images and calls to action, and the platform adds unlimited one-on-one, group or recurring bookings connected to your calendar, plus a simple checkout. It also provides legal texts that it keeps up to date, which matters most for EU businesses. There is a free plan with no credit card, and paid plans can be billed monthly or for 12 or 24 months.

    Best for:
A simple site with bookings and up-to-date legal pages
    Pricing:
Free plan. Paid plans from $9/mo, as of October 2026
