About Lovable
Lovable is a full-stack AI development platform. You describe what you want in plain language and it generates a working web application with the frontend, backend, database, authentication and integrations included, all backed by code you can read and edit. Lovable says you own the apps, code and content you create with it, and you can use them commercially and host them wherever you choose. New Lovable apps created from May 13, 2026 use TanStack Start, which renders pages on the server; older projects use React and Vite. The stack is fixed, so you cannot pick another framework such as Next.js. The built-in backend, called Lovable Cloud, runs on Supabase's open-source foundation and covers a Postgres database, user sign-in, file storage, realtime updates, edge functions, scheduled jobs, branded emails and logs, with hosting that scales with traffic. You can also connect your own Supabase project or third-party APIs instead. Projects sync to GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket on every plan, and paid plans add in-browser code editing, code download and custom domains. Built-in payments let an app sell subscriptions or one-time purchases on paid plans, and Free plan users can connect their own Stripe account. A free SEO and AI search review checks metadata, structured data, sitemaps and robots.txt. Lovable also has iOS and Android apps for building from your phone, although the apps it builds are web apps rather than native mobile apps.
