Floot
Build and host full-stack web and mobile apps from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
About Floot
Floot is a no-code AI app builder that works through the AI assistant you already use. You add Floot as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another MCP client, describe the app you want in that conversation, and Floot builds and hosts it with a backend, database and sign-in included. A project view on floot.com shows a live preview that updates as the build progresses, along with the app's data, services and Publish button. Each Floot project is a TypeScript and React app with serverless endpoints. Floot provisions a managed Postgres database, email-and-password or Google and Microsoft sign-in, file storage, transactional email and push notifications, scheduled jobs (which run while the project owner is on a paid plan) and hosting. Apps publish free on a yourname.floot.app subdomain, and paid plans can add a custom domain. Projects can also be published as native iOS and Android apps, with app builds included on every plan. Integrations include Stripe payments, Google login and Zapier, and you can connect services such as Twilio, Resend or an external Postgres database. Because your assistant does the reasoning, model tokens come from your Claude or ChatGPT subscription rather than Floot credits. Floot meters build actions instead, one per tool call, with a daily allowance set by your plan, while image generation and AI features inside your published app use Floot credits. Hosting is prepaid and metered on usage. Floot says you own your code, data and IP, and paid plans let you download the code as a ZIP or sync it to a folder on your computer. The stack is fixed, and Floot does not sync directly with a Git repository. Prices below are as of October 2026.

- Publishes native iOS and Android apps as well as web apps
- No weekly cap on build actions; the full daily allowance resets every day

Cons

Best For
Floot suits non-technical founders, small business owners and teams who already work in Claude or ChatGPT and want those conversations to produce a real hosted app with a database and user accounts. It fits internal tools, order and booking apps, dashboards and simple consumer apps that may also need a mobile version. Developers who want to choose their own framework, keep work in a Git repository or avoid usage-based hosting may prefer a different builder.
Our verdict
A distinctive take on AI app building that turns Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor into the builder while Floot handles the backend, hosting and mobile publishing. Keep an eye on the separate hosting balance, and upgrade to Pro if you need a custom domain or want to export the code.
